I just started to work on the new book The Ramen King and I. The problems I face right away are the Japanese terms/cultures, golfing terms, and the trombone.

Fortunately, I can find the answers online very easily. It just takes some time. For example, I just learned about the following terms.

Mute is 弱音器

STRAIGHT MUTE（直型）－所有銅管樂器。
CUP MUTE（杯型）－小號、長號。
EXTENDING TUBE MUTE－小號、長號。
PRACTICE MUTE（練習型）－所有銅管樂器。
PLUNGER MUTE（潛水型）－小號、長號。
STOPPING MUTE－法國號。

 小號 (TRUMPET)

長號 (TROMBONE) ： 長號也就是俗稱的伸縮  喇叭亦稱次中音長號，是銅管樂器類的中低音樂器。

rhythm section

節奏組是指在爵士樂或者流行音樂樂隊或樂團中為歌曲或樂曲搭建節奏節拍的音樂家集合。如果稱其使用的樂器則為節奏樂器組。
